Bruce C. Gerred, age 81, passed away at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center Sunday, March 19, 2023. He was born in Painesville, Ohio on July 31, 1941 to Dorothy (Best) and Robert Gerred.

Bruce enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, birdwatching and hotrodding. He also was an avid sports fan especially Ohio State and of his grandkids sporting activities along with cubscouts and coaching girls summer league softball. He had a heart bigger than life, was very generous and thoughtful, and always considered others before himself.

He leaves behind his son, Terrence (Pamela) Gerred, daughter, Deborah (Leonard) Gucciardo III, and their mother, Patricia Jamison; grandchildren, Sean Gerred, Jessica Gucciardo, Lynn (Andrew) Stahl, Russell (Ashley Roberts) Wilson, Samantha (Dan) Shannon, Thomas Gucciardo, Anthony (Jennifer Leonard) Gucciardo and Shelby Gerred; great-grandchildren, Kody Seachrist, Liela Shannon, Kalvin Jefferson, James Stahl and Lincoln Shannon; nieces and nephews, Ann Wickert, David (Gail) Wickert, Anne Wojnicz-Jarrell, Michelle Gerred, Amy (Rick) Miller, Matthew (Pat) Wickert, Jeny Gerred and Bobby Gerred; sisters-in-law, Barb Wickert and Theresa (George) Gerred-Ditchcreek and known as “Uncle Boo” to many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry  Gerred.

Friends will be received 10 am to 12 Noon Monday, March 27^th 2023 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison with a service immediately following at 12 Noon.  Final Resting place is Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road.
