Antonija Fowler

Antonija Fowler, age 77, of Madison, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born June 28, 1944 in Ljubuska, Bosnia, the daughter of Miroslav and Eleonora (Tolic) Cosic. She married Homer "Kirk" Fowler on December 22, 1973. Antonija was a mechanical engineer working for various firms in the Aerospace companies as well as her own engineering firm A&K Mechanical Design. She also taught and tutored at Lakeland Community College in Technical Math and Physics from 1984-1994. She enjoyed traveling, reading, jigsaw puzzles, politics, and current news. She is survived by her husband, Kirk Fowler; daughters, Patricia (Kenny) Lausin, Janett Fowler; sister, Dr. Dubravka (John) Oravec; and her grandchildren, Cody and Ashton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received 5-7 pm Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. A Funeral Service will take place 11 am Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Thompson United Methodist Church, 6758 Madison Rd, in Thompson. Final resting Place will be Northeast Leroy Cemetery.
