Jane L. Carr

Jane L. Carr, age 72 of Geneva, passed away April 29, 2019. She was born October 1, 1946 in Ashtabula, Ohio to Dale and Dorothy (Olson) Irby. For many years Jane, was a manager at the Gables Group home in Madison Ohio. She was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan and she “knew her baseball”. She loved the beach; her favorite place was Clearwater Beach in Florida. More than anything, Jane loved her grandchildren dearly.
Jane leaves behind her loving daughter, Melissa (Joseph) Arnold; grandchildren, Brenton, Abbey and Carson; and brother Dennis (Rose) Irby. Jane was preceded in death by her parents.
A private Celebration of Life will be observed in Florida at a later date…Most definitely at the beach. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family at this time.

Our love and deepest sympathy is sent to Jane's family. She was a lovely, kind, and beautiful person. I went to school with Jane from first grade through ninth grade at Windermere and Saybrook Schools and through graduation from Ashtabula High School in 1964. Jane was always a quiet, sweet, and true friend. We will all be missing her when our class gathers for our 55th reunion this summer in August.
