Robert H. Nyman

Robert H. Nyman, 81, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, in Ashland, Virginia. He was born February 25, 1938 to Helge and Doris (Anderson) Nyman in Cleveland, Ohio. Bob married his love, Connie Whipple, in August of 1957, and they started a family.
Bob was a systems analyst in energy and utilities and a member of Central Congregational Church in Madison prior to moving to Richmond. He enjoyed bowling and always took care of his family. For many years, Bob helped out at Behm Family Funeral Home, serving many local families during their greatest time of need. His service there is cherished and remembered.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Connie; son Robert (Peggy) Nyman; daughter Catherine (Mark) Simko; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded by his mother, Doris, and stepfather Danial Cramer.
Private family services will be observed and Bob’s final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison, Ohio.
