Samuel Vinton Hejduk

samuel hejduk
Samuel Vinton Hejduk, 33, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly, the morning of May 3, 2018, from a car accident. He was born June 4, 1984 to Robert Mike Hejduk and Mary Ann Struna in Painesville, Ohio. Sam loved life and worked hard. He attended Madison High School and graduated from Auburn Career Center, where he later taught. He worked for ODOT over ten years, Concord Road Equipment and currently employed as maintenance supervisor at Creative Millwork. Sam loved Farmall Tractors and Grizzly Natural Chew (not so much his wife, Courtneys favorite…). He made time to work around the house and help his dad across the street. If he had the chance, Sam liked to go fishing. And, another display of Sams big heart, he befriended Rocco, the raccoon. He leaves behind his loving wife, Courtney (Wentz) Hejduk; children, Delany, Dylan, Jacob; step daughter, Destiny; father Robert Mike (Laurie) Hejduk; mother, Mary Ann Hejduk; brothers, Joseph (Alaina) Hejduk, Anthony (Amber) Hejduk; grandmother, Doris Wentz; many loved nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Sam is preceeded in death by his grandparents Gordon and Nettie, and great uncle, Hobart Hejduk. Friends may call 2pm-4pm, and 6pm-8pm, Monday, May 14, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH 44057. Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the funeral home, with Rev. Pat Bartone, Jr. presiding. Condolences may be made online at www.behmfuneral.com
