Gayle Ann Pethtel Wood

Gayle Ann Pethtel Wood, age 68, of Madison, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the David Simpson Hospice House, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on July 29, 1949 in Painesville Ohio. Gayle graduated in 1967 from Madison High School and attended Kent State University. She was an accomplished piano player and completed 4 years of Chord Theory study. Gayle was always trying to help others and made sure that they were okay. She was always doing something to make people laugh. Gayle was preceded in death by her husband, Tolliver Wood; parents, Roy Soloman and Florence Mae Pethtel. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Arnold) Tucker; 3 grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, and Kalyanna; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brothers, Brad Lee (Marlene) Pethtel and Roy William (Joyce) Pethtel.
