Lawrence E. Bettinger

Lawrence E. "Larry" Bettinger, Age 77, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 Rae Ann in Geneva, Ohio. Born July 3, 1933 in Painesville to Dorothy (Norman) & Charles Bettinger Larry had been a welder at Riker Steel. Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed games of chance, playing cards and trips to Vegas. The family would like to thank Larry?s extended family and caregivers at Cozy Acres. He is survived by Brother-in-Law, Roland (Betty) Prehn of Madison; Nephews Clifford (Paula) Prehn of Geneva, Dale (Rebecca) Prehn of Henderson, NV; Niece, Karen (Mary Lorenz) Ford of Seattle, WA; Great-Nieces & Nephews, Eric, Jennifer, Madison, Jerry, Carla; Several Great-Great-Nieces & Nephews He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister, Norma; Nephew, Douglas Prehn; Great-Great-Nephew, Travis Prehn Friends will be received 6-8:00 pm, Friday, January 7, 2011 and 10-11:00 am, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 8 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
