Joseph E. Kozlowski

Joseph E. Kozlowski, age 61 of Ashtabula, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011, peacefully at home after a 6 year battle with cancer. He was born April 28, 1950 in Painesville, Ohio, the son of Evelyn and the late Edward Kozlowski. After graduating from Perry High School in 1968,he went on to be a State Highway Patrolman in Kent, Ohio. After resigning from the Post, he went on to building homes which led him to his current career at CTR in Geneva, Ohio. His survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Jackie (Compton) who he married March 1, 1969; two daughters, Maureen (Stan) Vaught, Ashtabula; Erica (Pete) LeMay, Ashtabula and his four grandchildren, Garrett and Keegan Vaught, Nicholas and Madeline LeMay. Also survived by his mother, Evelyn; 2 sisters, Cindy Square, Casey Nichols and his brother, Eddie Kozlowski. Friends will be received 1-4 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 PM.
