Albina Bukky

Albina V. Bukky, age 96 of Strongsville, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Kemper House. Born February 28, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois she was the daughter of Frank and Frances (Cervenick) Bedenk. She married Edward Bukky in 1940 in Painesville. Albina had a feisty personality and many people would remember her from the rental properties she owned and managed in Geneva. She is survived by her daughter: Edwina "Wendy" Bukky of Middleburg Heights; grandchildren: Chris Corbin of Middleburg Heights, Therese Corbin of Valley City, and Diane (Jon) Corbin-Dube of Hanover, PA; great grandchildren: Allyse Corbin of West Lake and Jacob Dube of Hanover, PA Albina is preceded in death by her husband Edward; her twin brother: Alvin Bedenk; brother: Frank Bedenk; sisters: Anne Suomi, Dorothy Furguson, and Harriet Maki. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. There will be a prayer service at 8:00pm at the conclusion of the visitation. The family suggests contributions be made to your local Catholic church for a mass to be said in Albina's name.
