Robert E. Reese

Robert E. Reese, 75, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 At home in Madison. Born January 26, 1933 in Cleveland to Eleanor (Smith) & William Reese, he married Grace C. Chegwidden in Madison, Ohio on 5/1/1954. Bob was a Stationary Steam Engineer at Diamond Alkali, 25 years and R.W. Sidley for 18 years retiring in 1995. He also worked at the Behm Family Funeral Home. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed wood carving and gardening. He was a 15 year member of the Madison Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Central Congregational Church. He is survived by Wife: Grace C. Reese of Madison; 2 Daughters Lori Berry of Madison and Leanne & Son-in-Law, Johnnie Thomlison of Madison; 4 Grandchildren,Christopher Acord, Jaimie Acord, Paige Berry & Alexandria Thomlison; Brother, Larry (Carol) Reese of Philadelphia, PA; Brother-in-Law, John Cherniss of Florida; Sister-in-Law, Marilyn Reese of Madison He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nancy; sister, Shirley Cherniss and brother, William Reese Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park Street, Madison, Ohio. Pastor Bob Higgins of Here?s Hope Baptist Church will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
