Eva Rose Blaskis,94 of Hudson, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Laurel Lake Crown Center in Hudson. She was born December 9, 1914 in Cleveland to John and Rose (Staukinas) Derus and married Anthony E. Blaskis on September 2, 1933 in Cleveland. Mrs. Blaskis owned and operated Rosann Fashions in Thompson and was a member of St. Patrick?s Church in Thompson. Survived by Daughter, Barbara (Ronald) McPherson of Irving, TX; Son, Edward (Barbara) Blaskis of Hudson, Ohio; 7 Grandchildren: Stephen, Michele, Faith, Desiree, Eva, Lisa, Christopher; 10 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; her Husband Anthony in 2004; Son James Blaskis; Sister Anna Wesolowski and 4 Brothers, Benedict, Adam, Alphonse, and Daniel Derus. Friends will be received 10 ? 11am Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OH where the funeral service will be held at 11am. Rev. Paul Smith of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Thompson will officiate. Final Resting Place will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
