Anthony Miklavcic

Anthony A. Miklavcic, age 92, of Thompson, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at Chardon Healthcare. He was born June 7, 1920 in Cleveland to Rose (Hosta) & Frank Miklavcic. Anthony worked as a machinist at Tapco in Cleveland. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the Marshall Islands and enjoyed farming and gardening. He is survived by his niece, Mary Jo Miklavcic of Euclid, OH; nephews, Frank (Rosemary) Miklavcic of Frankfort, KY, Robert Miklavcic of Jefferson, OH, John Miklavcic of Thompson, OH, Joseph (Barb) Segulin of Mentor, OH & Anthony (Robyn) Segulin of Union, MI; sister-in-law, Mary Miklavcic of Thompson, OH; 12 great nieces and nephews and many caring Chardon Healthcare staff. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frank Miklavcic and sister, Theresa Segulin. Friends will be received 6-8 PM Friday, March 1, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Saturday, March 2, 2013, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, Ohio. Final resting place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson.
