Ray Miller

Ray Miller, age 56, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born November 12, 1956 in Painesville to Estelle (Lehew) and Raymond G. Miller, Sr. He married Christine (Lesso) October 30, 1982 in Mentor. A 1976 graduate of Painesville Harvey High School, Ray was the man in charge for the night shift at Giant Eagle in Painesville. He enjoyed walks on the beach as well as dancing with his wife. He also enjoyed listening to music. The proud founder and president of the Madison Browns Backers, he had a passion for sports, and was always involved in his son's activities. Ray was a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his children and granddaughter Makayla. He is survived by his wife, Christine Miller of Madison; daughters Crystal Miller of Painesville, Jessica (Robert Gunter) Miller of Madison; son, Nicholas Miller of Madison; granddaughter, Makayla Miller of Madison; mother Estelle Miller of Painesville; sisters, Mary Ann (Jim) Richner of Painesville, Barbara Schiering of Naples, FL, Deborah Snider of Geneva; brother, Clyde (Janet) Miller of Troy, Montana. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond G. Miller, Sr. Friends will be received 1-4 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a memorial service following at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family.
