Albert McIlrath

Albert McIlrath, age 91, resident of Painesville, Ohio, formerly of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at home in Painesville. He was born April 6, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio to Agnes (Vernick) and Ollie McIlrath. He married Dorothy Cox on August 16, 1941. Albert was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII. He worked in refrigeration and retired from Upson Machine Shop in Painesville as a machinist. Albert loved to garden and spend time with his pals, Charlie and Lola. He is survived by his Daughter, Janet (Roy Bailey) McIlrath of Pierpont; 7 Grandchildren, Becky, Kim, John, David, Jackie, Laurie, and Jim; 14 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy McIlrath; daughter, Barbara Ann Mcllrath. Friends will be received from 4 to 7:00 pm. Friday, April 6, 2012 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am. Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the funeral home.
