Roger W Chapin

Roger W. Chapin, Age 72, of Perry, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at home. Born October 24, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Treva & Charlie Chapin. After high school, Roger served in the U.S. Navy. He attended First Baptist Church in Perry and was a former zoning inspector in Perry. Known around town as "Floyd the Barber", he worked many years at the Perry Barber Shop. He is survived by daughters, Deborah Chapin of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Karen Chapin of Jefferson, Sheryl (Joe) McKenzie of Kingsville; Sons, Michael Chapin of Perry, Terry Chapin of Youngstown; 8 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service will be 11 AM, Friday, April 6, 2012, at First Baptist Church, 3918 Main Street, Perry, Ohio with Rev. Michael Cole officiating. Final Resting Place will be at East Conneaut Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Perry First Baptist Church, 3918 Main Street, Perry, OH 44081.
