Wilson J. "Bill" Burr, age 80, of Perry, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Lake Health Madison ER. He was born March 8, 1935 in Painesville, Ohio the son of George Wilson and Kathryn Leona (Baldauf) Burr. Bill married Polly Marie Streeper in Willoughby on March 17, 1986. Bill graduated from Cathedral Latin High School and went on to achieve a Bachelor's degree from Garfield Men's College (now Lake Erie College) in Business Administration. In 1977, he helped start Mackenzie Nursery Supply in Perry and subsequently became owner. Bill loved golf, his RV and Myrtle Beach camping. He loved his family first and put them above all, even golf. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Polly Burr; his children, Mary Llanos, Victoria Griggs, Gary (Colleen) Burr, James (Judy) Burr, Amy (David) Stark, Melissa (Gary) Gomer, Paul (Donna Rumley) Andres, Adam (Brittany Broida) Burr, Abigail ( Alex Kapantis) Burr; grandchildren, Angela (Chris), Nicole (Paul), Jonathon (Naobi), Samuel, Ryan, Rebecca, Elizabeth (Mike), Michael (Renee) Maria (James), Lauren, Hannah, Jordan, Bobby (Kate), Lynn (Matt), Lauren (Kaleaf), Michael, Ethan; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, Justin Burr; his parents, sister, Maritherese Sellers. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2015 at St. Cyprian's Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, OH 44081. Fr. George Kusy will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery on Center Road, Perry, OH. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.   1. So sorry for your loss….it's such a difficult time to lose those you love. Surround yourselves with family and happy times. Bill would want you to remember all the good he brought to your life and to be proud of being a part of his life and not to mourn him…impossible I know…hes in a happy place and will wait for you. We are all lucky to have such a special angel up there and you know he's going to stir it up up there! You are all in my prayers!

  10. So sorry to hear of Mr. Burrs passing. I have many fond memories such as growing up over the years with the family, working with Jim and Gary pulling railroad ties as Bill ran the dozer in Chardon, the times at the basket factory when he would stop in to check on our progress making baskets, as well as the times we ran inventory counts with Amy at McKenzies. I will miss Bill. Prayers and condolances to the whole family. Find comfort in knowing that he no longer is in pain and now walks wth God and that he lived life on his terms and loved you all.
