Elizabeth "Liz" Barbara Kuehnle

Elizabeth "Liz" Barbara Kuehnle, age 81 of Madison Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born on May 25, 1935 in Parkman, Ohio, the daughter of Rose (Geressy) and Stephen Lengel. Elizabeth married Richard Kuehnle on December 20, 1958.
Liz graduated from Grove City College and went on to earn a Master's Degree from McGill University in Montreal. She was a lover of languages, having taught French and Latin to many students over the years. She taught both French and Latin in the Ashtabula and Chardon school systems. Mrs. Kuehnle started the Elementary Language Program in Chardon and Ashtabula as well as mentored a student that took 3rd place in the state. She was also instrumental in starting D & L Manufacturing in Madison. One of Liz's hobbies included birthing and raising sheep.
Liz is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Barry (Leanne) Kuehnle, Roseanna Kuehnle; grandchildren, Hannah Gabriella, Emmaly Victoria, and Anya Marie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and many brothers and a sister.
Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Liz's final resting place will be at North Madison Cemetery.

Dear Barry, Leanne, Anya and Family, we are so sorry for your loss of Barry's Mother. We didn't have the privilege of knowing her, but she sounds amazing. The resemblance of her and Barry is unbelievable. Hopefully the wonderful memories will comfort you, and she will forever be in your hearts!
