David "Bucky" Burdyshaw
April 14, 1952 ~ September 2, 2026
Resided in:
Madison, OH
David Stephen “Bucky” Burdyshaw departed peacefully on September 2, 2026 at around 2:00pm in his bed at Cardinal Woods in Madison, OH in the company of his brother Rick. Born to Harry and Nellie Burdyshaw on April 24, 1952, David is survived by his two brothers, Richard and William Burdyshaw. He was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Beth Dnunzio in 2010 and Deborah Burdyshaw in 2013.
As an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, Dave loved to spend time hunting and fishing with his best friends: brothers Rick and Will and cousins Dean and Rick. Dave was always an outgoing, humorous and friendly person who maintained a childlike sense of wonder and open heart throughout his life. He was adored by his nieces and nephews and always went out of his way to help whoever and however he could. Dave was well-known for his love of Triumph motorcycles and working with small engines, especially chainsaws. He could always be found near a pile of firewood or tending to a bonfire. Whatever the task, Dave was sure to find a way to rustle up a laugh.
Dave’s family would like to extend their thanks to his best friend and neighbor Vicky, who was a true friend and a blessing to him for many years. At his request, a formal funeral will not be held. The family will be arranging a celebration of life in his honor. Online obituary and condolences may be found at www.behmfuneral.com
