Carl Grant Layman

Carl Grant Layman, age 61, of Ashtabula, Ohio passed from this world on August 8, 2026 after a battle with cancer. Carl Grant was born in Madison, Ohio on November 1, 1964 to Carl Allen Layman and Thelma Jean Biggers Layman who have both preceded him in death.

Carl graduated from Madison High School in 1983. He loved poetry and was a published author. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, listening to Classic Rock and Roll, and challenging his cousins to a game of chess.

Carl had such a gentle and loving spirit. He will be greatly missed until we hear the trumpet sound!
