She was a beautiful woman and bright light in her family as a loving wife, sister, daughter, niece, and cousin. She valued her many decades-long friendships.
Julee was a life-long advocate and animal rights philanthropist. She was devoted to all creatures, great and small. She was a proud vegetarian and fostered and adopted dozens of grateful animals over the years.
In her formative years, Julee attended St. Wencelas Elementary School, then on to Trinity High School graduating in 1986. She was a talented, stand-out athlete and cheerleader from the time she was in middle school. She excelled as cheerleading captain, and at volleyball, and track (sprints and field events) in high school. Julee received collegiate scholarship offers for both track and field and volleyball from 20+ colleges including Ole Miss, Kentucky, West Point, and Northwestern. Julee chose and attended Bowling Green State University on a full athletic scholarship for her exceptional skills in track as a sprinter, and both the long and triple jump events. Julee graduated in 1990 from Bowling Green with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management. She continued to play competitive volleyball and soccer in her adult years.
Her professional career took several directions (starting in a research lab at the Cleveland Clinic), but she most notably worked as Manager, Product Compliance Stewardship for Tremco, Inc. in Beachwood, Ohio. She gained much satisfaction from her work responsibilities (both local and international) in recent years.
Julee was a generous, warm, free spirit. She had an interest in different ways and paths to connect to a spiritual world and being. She was fiercely independent, remarkably special, and strong-willed. She was confident and completely comfortable with herself. Julee lived in Madison, Ohio and truly embraced the rural lifestyle.
She will be desperately missed for all eternity.
The lives of all who loved her will never be the same. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
