Cynthia was raised in Madison Village and went to Madison Schools. In High school with the band she became a twirler. After High School it was off to Kent State University and obtained her degree in telecommunications.
She was an announcer at WREO in Ashtabula. After graduation from college her father converted a van into a camper and she headed out west.
She stopped in Tucson, AZ where she got a job at KOLD. She had her own two minute spot on the 5 pm news helping folks solve local issues. After a few years she moved to Portland, OR where she did the same type of work. When she completed that job her uncle got her a job in Thousand Oaks, CA where she was a script supervisor that the 7th Day Adventists produced. After a few years she moved again to a Pine Forest in Florida called Daytona. It was just being developed when she moved so she bought 4 lots and built a home on one. She was the editor of a news magazine for the 7th Day Adventist. She was in charge of hurricane relief in that area for the Church. A few years later she was on the move again to the Fitchburg area of Massachusetts where she worked for the 7th Day Adventist College there. During that time she became interested in antiques both buying and selling. It was there she found her passion. After retirement she moved back to the homestead in Madison.
