It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lemoine Aaron Roberts, a cherished husband, dedicated veteran, and exceptional craftsman, who departed this life on March 14, 2026 in Crossville, Tennessee. Lemoine was born on November 26, 1939, in Indiana, where he began a life characterized by service, skill, and steadfast commitment to those he loved.
Lemoine served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961, embodying the values of dedication and integrity that define our nation’s heroes. Following his military service, he embarked on a fulfilling career as a machine repairman, finding his vocation with esteemed companies such as Ajax Magnethermic, Packard Electric, and Delphi Automotive. Known for his remarkable ability to repair and restore machinery, Lemoine was a beacon of knowledge and skill in his field, often working tirelessly, seven days a week, to ensure that every task was executed with precision and care.
Lemoine is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lou Roberts, to whom he was a loving partner and friend; and his sons, Bryan and Bruce Roberts. Their bond was a testament to devotion and companionship, and his memory will forever be treasured by her and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held in honor of Lemoine’s life, celebrating the legacy of a man whose talents and character impacted all who crossed his path. These ceremonies will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison Ohio 44057. Friends, family, and community members are invited to gather and share their memories of Lemoine from 10am -12pm, with a funeral service immediately following at 12pm, with reflection on a life well-lived and a spirit that will continue to inspire. Final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery in Madison Village.
In this time of mourning, we remember Lemoine Aaron Roberts, not only for his contributions as a veteran and craftsman but also for the warmth, kindness, and laughter he imparted to his loved ones. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
