Born 11th in line of a big, noisy family with much ado about everything, Mickey somehow blossomed into this beautiful mix of quiet, unassuming, easy-going, kind, and gentle.
Irish, and that same mischievous twinkle of her daddy’s in her eye, she was like a prism casting rainbows and coloring the lives of those around her.
Never without a smile that inevitably would spread to the faces of everyone in the room, you simply couldn’t be in the presence of Mickey and not smile, or just plain laugh out loud. She had the innate ability to make you belly laugh, tears streaming, can’t-stop laughing, over nothing. It was just Mickey, her beautiful self, that made you laugh. Many of you reading this are smiling or laughing right now at the very thought of her. She was created to help the world around her discover their own sense of humor.
God’s girl, she was truly a light that shown ever-so-bright. She loved God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of her life. Cleansed by the blood of her Savior, Jesus Christ, she lived to show His wondrous love and grace to those around her and prayed earnestly that those she knew and loved would come to know Him as their Savior, too.
One-of-a-kind. One-in-a-million. One life that forever marked the lives of those around her.
! Mickey will forever remain and be remembered as the cherished Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and forever friend she was, who added simple joy and beauty to every moment of our lives.

If you knew Mickey at all, you knew BINGO was her favorite pastime. She has hollered BINGO here for the last time now, but in doing so, has hit her biggest jackpot ever.

We pray with her that all would come to know her Jesus and call on His Name to be cleansed of their sin, so that we will all see her once again when we ourselves cross that river and step onto those golden shores of Heaven to join her there.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. You were a force all your own Mickey! Thanks for being a part of my memories and thank you for giving me my first and forever friend, your Kari Lou!

Sending my love and deepest condolences to her family.

  2. Growing up together was full of laughter, fun and responsibility. Mickey was 1 yr. And 19 days younger than me. We had cousins who lived across the street from us. Mickey, Vonney and I were a threesome. Going from one thing to another our lives was filled with love. Her three children, Pat, Patti, and Kari grew up becoming responsible and loving parents and children to Mickey always caring for her needs. The Lord has been an anchor to our souls and we will miss Mickey today but in our tomorrow’s we will be forever together with Christ our Redeemer and Savior. ThankYou Lord for all the times You have been there for us. In Jesus name,Amen❣️Resting in peace. We love you and have been blessed with the place you and your family have been in our lives❣️

  3. Dear loved ones and friends:
Please seek Jesus Christ during these difficult times. He is our Lord and Savior. He (God) sent his only son (Jesus) to die on an old rugged Cross on our behalf, so that we might live eternally in a perfect Heaven with him.
    Revelation 21‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.””
    ‭‭‬ ‭‬‬

  4. I will miss Mickey so much and will always remember and cherish my wonderful memories of her. She always had a huge smile for you, was so kind and soft-spoken. You see, I am the lucky cousin who lived across the street and had the privilege of growing up with her and her 6 siblings (5 girls). We had super fun times. So much out loud, catch-your-breath laughter and love in that house. I was always at Aunt Lou’s. She was my 2nd Mom. My own Mom would ask if I wanted my bed moved across the street…..yes please. I had older sisters and a brother but I played alone most of the time until that glorious day when the O’Hare’s moved in!!

Rest in Peace dear Mickey until we are all together again! Watch out Heaven!! ❤️🙏🏼

  5. I cried and smiled simultaneously while reading this perfect eulogy that is spot on Mickey. She had a kind soul and yes a beautiful smile for everyone. So many great memories of her.
Rest in peace sweet lady. 🙏❤️

  6. Michele, it’s not going to be easy trying to go on without you here being here to listen and support me through my worst times. I could call you anytime day or night and you always knew what to tell me. Patti Dawn said it best the other day. That you would now expect me to lean on your kids. I know you are not happy with the way they left me at the ER last Thursday. I will be contacting Patti Dawn soon.
I love ❤️ you so much Aunt Mick.
