Shirley Ann Judkins, age 84, of Madison, Ohio went to her maker on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center peacefully surrounded by family. She was born on March 15, 1935 in Mentor, OH to Russell T. and Gladys E. (Warner) Brichford.
Shirley was known as the “Nice Cross Lady” as she was often known for passing out her handmade crosses as an inspiration to others. She thoroughly enjoyed sharing her faith with everyone. She loved the Bible Study that she started and was always there to listen. Family and God was most important in her life. She also loved Black Licorice and Yellow Roses.
Shirley leaves behind her family, Mary Lou (Tony) Novak, Linda “Lyn” Judkins, Sandra Frey and Jeannette Nichols-Zells; grandchildren, Rodney “JR”, Jamie, Stephen, Ryan, Chad, Jennifer, Joseph, Justin, David and Heather; three great-grandchildren; and her service puppy, Penny. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David E. Judkins; second husband, Ray Wiebush; sister, Margaret “Peggy” Eckert; son, David Russell Judkins and brother, Russell T. Brichford II.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 pm, Monday, December 30, 2019 at the Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing Center Dining Hall, 6831 Chapel Rd, Madison, OH.
