Born February 21, 1929 in Painesville, Ohio to Margaret (Gamble) and Carl Korth
Married June (Melcher) on April 8, 1950
Memberships and Affiliations: Mr. Korth graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville in 1947. He served in the Army in Korea during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star. After working fifty years in the grocery business, he retired in 1994. Russ also worked at Perry Center and drove Meals-on-Wheels for many years. He has been a longtime member of Perry United Methodist Church since 1950 and was active in Perry Seniors, planning many trips for the group. He also was on the Travel Committee for the Lake County Retired Teachers for many years and enjoyed his McDonald?s coffee club.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Perry United Methodist Church.
