M.R. “Bob” Balaban age 90 a resident of Madison, Ohio passed away Monday, May 14, 2007 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby, Ohio.
Born April 7, 1917 in Cleveland, to Mary (Kucic) & Stefan Balaban.
Married Carol Dodd on January 23, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Retired from Reliance Electric in Ashtabula after working there for over 30years.
Mr. Balaban served in World War II as a Master Sargent in the US Army in Europe.
He is survived by his Wife of 64 years Carol Balaban; 8 Children Dianne (Charles) LeMay, Robert Balaban, Nancy (Roy) Blalock, Marlane Bastian, Dave (Judy) Balaban, James Balaban, Paul (Laurie) Balaban & Don Balaban; 24 Grandchildren & 23 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by His Parents; 2 Brothers, 3 Sisters & 2 Grandsons
Friends will be received 6-8:00 pm, Thursday, May 17th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OHIO.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, May 18th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OHIO.
Rev. Sean Donnolly of Immaculate Conception Church will be officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Arcola Cemetery in Madison.
