Lawrence “Larry” Daly, age 80 of Geneva, passed away October 24, 2023. He was born March 1, 1943 in Warren, OH the son of Eugene and Mary (Clark) Daly.

Larry graduated from St. Ignatius High School and went on to graduate from University of Dayton with a BA in Education. He taught Physics, Chemistry and Earth Science at Madison High School for over 20 years. A member of the Northeast Ohio Football Officials Association and the Ohio High School Athletic Association Larry served as a basketball and football official for over 35 years. He also worked as a Boy Scout Executive for several years in Cincinnati, New Carlisle and Erie PA, then returned to teaching in his later years.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sheryle; sons, Lawrence “Chip” (Niki), Kenneth Michael (Mick), Chris (Lisa), Tim (Jennifer), Scott (Mikela) Daly, and Chuck (LeAnn) Edwards; daughter, Cynthia Cook, grandchildren, Charles, Korey, Sam, Thomas, Michalel, Gabriel, Jacob, Joey, Erin, Henry, Elenore, Addison, Wyatt, Shawn, Kelly and Samantha; great granddaughters, Naudia and Avery; brother, Tim (Enya) Daly, sister, Mary Ann (Ray) Schaefer. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kelly McKissick; brothers, Dan and Tom.

Friends will be received from 3-7 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 am on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Assumption Church, 594 West Main Street in Geneva. Father Daniel Finnerty will officiate. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
