Howard A. Moseley, of Thompson, age 85 (born June 8, 1922) peacefully went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2008; beloved husband of Audrey M Moseley nee Jerome, father of Carl T (Kathleen) Moseley, Carol A (Kenneth) Buschur and Catherine M Moseley ; grandfather of Mark C Moseley, Joshua A (Malisa) Moseley, Michael E Buschur and Jean Marie C Buschur. He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles N , Roger C, and Arthur J Moseley and parents Noah LeRoy and Bessie Moseley nee Rogers; also brother in-law Ernest Jerome. He is survived by sisters-in-law Pauline A, Muriel A, and Marcia Vera (Vee) Moseley; and in-laws Jack and Carol Curtiss. Howard is also survived by many family and friends.

Howard was a life member of The Thompson United Methodist Church, Grange, and Farm Bureau. He enjoyed square dancing and traveling, having visited such places as Europe, Australia, and Alaska. With his brothers, he constructed his house by hand out of lumber from the farm. Howard?s vocation and avocation was farming, spending his time in the fields on his tractor and making maple syrup. He was a loving, devoted father and grandfather instilling love and a strong work ethic in his family; leading by example. He will be greatly missed by many; and he is now running with his brothers.

Visitation will be held 2-4:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.

Church Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Thompson United Methodist Church, 6758 Madison Road, Thompson, Ohio.

Graveside services will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Thompson, Ohio
