Andrew “Andy” Blasko III, age 80, of Geneva, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at UH Geneva Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1943.
Andy spent his free time, hunting, fishing and trap shooting. He also enjoyed golfing and played on a league for the Geneva VFW and Geneva Eagles.
He worked at RMI Sodium Plant in Ashtabula, until they closed. He loved telling stories about his job there and was very proud that he had 25 years and 5 weeks of vacation. He later retired from Perfection Corporation in 2005.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Kevin) Hanson; grandson, Dalton Mokri; sister, Bev Becker; and two nieces, Molly Booth and Beth Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sandi Kay Blasko.
