Adolph “Dolph” Tersigni, age 89, of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He was born August 28, 1933 in Cleveland, the son of Anthony and Anna (Gardner) Tersigni. He married Inez Thompson in Geneva on September 13, 1958.
Dolph was a 1951 graduate of Platt R. Spencer High School in Geneva. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany. A hard worker all of his life, Dolph worked for True Temper, Coca-Cola, Geneva Union Cemeteries among other various jobs. He was a life member of the Geneva VFW Post #6846 where he served as a trustee and helped to organize the Color Guard.
He is survived by his children, Tony (Sue) Tersigni of Madison, Jim (Carol) Tersigni of Geneva, Anita Tersigni of Saybrook, John Tersigni of Kathmandu, Terri Tersigni of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Jim, Joy, Kayla, Ally; great-grandchildren, Chase, Charlee and Maddox; brother, Tony (Sondra); and sister, Rose Hassett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez (Nonny) Tersigni; his parents; brothers, Frank and Bill; sisters, Mary and Theresa.
Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11am on Monday, November, 21, 2022 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, in Geneva. Final Resting place will be Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dolph’s name to Bella Care Hospice, 1933 Rt 45, Austinburg, Ohio 44010.
