Michelle Marie Kellison, age 65, of Madison, passed away at her home on April 30, 2026. She was born in Chardon on April 6, 1961, the daughter of the late Gene Kellison and Joanne (Kaminski) Hopes.

Michelle was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and partner. She loved to cook and took great pride in her family recipes, which were a special way she showed love to those around her. She also enjoyed gardening, music, and interior decorating, and found joy in creating a warm and welcoming home. She never missed an episode of General Hospital and treasured time spent with her grandchildren, especially their sleepovers. Her family will remember her for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the traditions she passed down.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Kellison and Joanne (Kaminski) Hopes; her former spouse, Lawrence Schneider; and her niece, Autumn Vanek.

She is survived by her spouse, Marty Finzel; her daughter, Morgan (Josh) Brown; her grandchildren, Ashlyn and Thomas “Bud” Moritz Jr.; her sister, Tracie Kellison (Gregg Smith); her half-sister, Mary-Kay; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
